Congratulations to Mubuuke Gonzaga (SAFRI 2009), who was recently selected to complete an editorial internship with Medical Education, an international, peer-reviewed journal with distribution to readers in more than 80 countries. The journal offers just three of these competitive internships annually as part of its emphasis on capacity building for the field of medical education. Interns work closely with the Editor in Chief and deputy editors, reviewing and offering recommendations on submitted works, engaging in conversations about electronic and print-based innovations, and contributing editorials or commentaries on timely issues.
