Dr. Ha Minh Thuy’s (CMCL 2009) journey through the FAIMER International Fellowship Program (IFI) has been a transformative milestone in her career in health professional education. After attending the program starting in 2020 and graduating in 2022, Dr. Ha actively contributed to advancing medical education field, dedicating her efforts both to her institution and the broader health sector in her country - Vietnam.

Driven by her passion for medical education, Dr. Ha pursued further specialization by completing a Master’s degree in Health Professional Education at Maastricht University, Netherlands, graduating in 2024. This academic advancement enabled her to deepen her expertise and broaden her impact in the field.

Her commitment to excellence is reflected in several noteworthy achievements:

  • Dr. Ha has been honored with the Employee of the Year Award and recognized for Outstanding Contribution by VinUniversity in Hanoi, Vietnam, for three consecutive years. These awards reflect her consistent commitment and valued impact within her institution.
  • Series of research articles published in prestigious academic journals such as Medical Education, BMC Medical Education, and Clinical Anatomy, contributing valuable knowledge to the global medical education community.
  • Presentations at national and international conferences, including Vietnam’s National Annual Medical Education Conference, the WFME Conference 2024 in Bangkok, Thailand, and the APMEC 2024 conference in Singapore, showcasing her work and fostering international collaboration.
  • Recently, she was offered and has enrolled in a PhD Program in Health Sciences at the School of Medicine, University of Auckland, continuing her pursuit of academic excellence and leadership in health professional education.
