FAIMER Announces Launch of Eastern Africa FAIMER Regional Institute (EAFRI)

FAIMER is pleased to announce the launch of a new Regional Institute for health professions educators in Eastern Africa. The Eastern Africa FAIMER Regional Institute (EAFRI) will welcome its first group of Fellows in 2023. 

FAIMER will partner with Makerere University College of Health Sciences (MakCHS), in Kampala, Uganda which will serve as the host institution, and Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST), in Mbarara, Uganda, which will serve as the regional partner. 

The EAFRI joins nine FAIMER Regional Institutes (FRIs) in operation around the world; one in Chile, two in China, one in Egypt, four in India, and one in Indonesia.
