Congratulations to Angelika Reinbrech-Schutte (SAFRI 2010) and Marietjie van Rooyen (PHIL 2006), who were recently recognized with Educational Innovation Awards by the University of Pretoria. Drs. Reinbrech-Schutte and van Rooyen were recognized, along with two other members of the Department of Family Medicine, for their work in developing and managing the Longitudinal Clinic Attachment Scheme, which involves nearly 1,000 students spending a day at regular intervals throughout their training at specific community clinics.
