Chinmay Shah Develops Directory of Indian FAIMER Fellows

GSMC-FAIMER Regional Institute 2008 Fellow Chinmay Shah recently developed a directory of Indian FAIMER Fellows. The directory contains Indian Fellows from the FAIMER Institute in Philadelphia, as well as its Regional Institutes, and was released by Dr. Arun Jamkar (PHIL 2004) and FAIMER Associate Vice President for Education William P. Burdick at the 2013 National Conference on Health Professional Education (NCHPE), held September 24-28, 2013, at Seth G.S. Medical College, Mumbai, India. Dr. Shah also served as the coordinator of the 2013 NCHPE poster session.

Dr. Shah was invited as a resource person for a basic course on nursing education technology at Shree Sahajanand Institute of Nursing at Bhavnagar in January 2014. He delivered a series of lectures on Principles of Learning; Media in Medical Education; Principles of Assessment; SAQ, LAQ, MCQ and Item Analysis; OSPEs; and How to Give Feedback.

Dr. Shah is also a Core Committee member for an e-learning lab at Government Medical College, Bhavnagar, and is serving his third consecutive year as Secretary of the Indian Medical Association, Bhavnagar. His recent publications include:
