Congratulations to Safinah Museene (SAFRI 2009), who graduated on April 5, 2018, with a Ph.D. in Nursing from the University of Cape Town, South Africa. Dr. Museene’s thesis described the clinical teaching practices of nursing preceptors and the design, implementation, and evaluation of a structured and collaborative clinical teaching training program aimed at improving their pedagogical skills. This project was carried out at one of the referral hospitals in Uganda. Dr. Museene’s work offers a viable teaching strategy for nursing preceptors and a framework to guide practice, policy, and regulation in the area of preceptors’ preparation and management.
