Congratulations to Surapaneni Krishna Mohan (CMCL 2009), who was recently selected as an International Union of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (IUBMB) Young Scientist. As a recipient of this award, Dr. Mohan received a cash prize of $800 and was invited to present at the Young Scientist Program (YSP), 21st IUBMB and 12th FAOBMB (Federation of Asian and Oceanic Biochemists and Molecular Biologists) International Congress of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, held July 30–August 7, 2009, in Shanghai, China.

Dr. Mohan is also the recipient of an International Federation of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine (IFCC) Fellowship to attend Euromedlab 2009 at the 18th IFCC–EFCC (European Federation of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine) National Congress of the Austrian Society of Laboratory Medicine and Clinical Chemistry, held June 7–June 11, 2009, in Innsbruck, Austria. As a recipient of this award, Dr. Mohan received a cash prize of €500 for his presentation at the congress.
