Congratulations to Venu Gopala Rao Tanneru (CMCL 2007) on his nomination to a committee studying the evaluation methods being taught in medical and dental courses at 32 medical colleges affiliated with the Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences. Assembled by the Principal Secretary for Health, Medical and Family Welfare for the state of Andhra Pradesh, the committee is tasked with identifying unethical practices and suggesting solutions.

Dr. Tanneru was also nominated as Chair of the Core Committee on Medical Education for Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, which plans and monitors the medical education technology training units at affiliated colleges through three of the university’s regional centers.
