Congratulations to Zareen Zaidi (PHIL 2008), who was recently nominated as Chair of the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) Research in Medical Education (RIME) Program Planning Committee. The RIME forum disseminates research concerning all aspects of medical education presented each year at the AAMC’s Annual Meeting: Learn Serve Lead (LSL). RIME aims to promote the transformation of health care through medical education innovation and research. Members of the RIME Program Planning Committee are nominated by their peers and elected through a national process. They are comprised of nominated PhD/EdD and MD researchers with a wide variety of expertise who convene to review and select the RIME program. Additionally, they coordinate assembly and editorial management of accepted RIME papers for publication in the RIME supplement of the journal Academic Medicine. Dr. Zaidi has served on the RIME Program Planning Committee for three years and will begin serving as its Chair in November 2020.
